Jivago started his recruitment career at Wall Street Associates in 2008 and was instrumental in the growth of the contract staffing business until its acquisition by en Japan and rebranding to en world in 2012. He built and managed a stable contract staffing division at en world Japan by the time he left the firm at the end of 2015. Since then, Jivago has worked as a business entrepreneur and advised and helped hundreds of individuals, regardless of age, gender, education or career gaps, obtain gainful employment and has developed a successful contract staffing business within his own firm today at Advisory Group K.K.
As founder and CEO of the Advisory Group his key mission is to continue driving positive change to the recruitment industry in Japan and encourage companies to hire individuals based on their skills, experience, attitude and potential rather than age, gender, education or career gaps. Jivago leverages his deep knowledge of the market and vast network of professionals to continue promoting a portfolio career and flexible workforce in Japan. Originally from Canada, Jivago worked in the financial services industry, within reputable firms such as the Royal Bank of Canada and Ernst & Young until the 2008 financial crisis, before joining the recruitment industry.
