Position: Site Controller
Location: Kanagawa
Start: ASAP
Team: Stand-alone
Reporting: Site Manager
Reason: New position
Salary: 6-9M JPY/annum
Responsibilities:
Gives the right recommendations to management for decision-making incl. review key commercial terms / conditions, business model and CAPEX projects
Creates transparency and provides data analysis for decision making for the Site Leadership Team to execute critical decision making
Leads the process by which the site determines its financial contribution through transparency of cost and opportunity to ensure that the site operates with clear visibility of its cost structures and strategies
Educates and ensures site workers possess enough financial knowledge to understand the P&L implications of activities occurring in their area of responsibility
Leads all general and cost accounting which includes systems and procedures to ensure the accurate and timely financial reporting of site performance
Directs the preparation of the site’s operating plan/forecast to ensure accuracy and reasonableness of all forward-looking data used for business group projections
Identifies and implements key process efficiencies, as well as proactively solves problems
Champions new ideas and fosters a team environment. Contributes to the development of the site as well as to the community
