Our client is amongst world leaders in the food and beverage industry. They have partnered with us to find their head of accounting for their Tokyo office.
[POSITION]
Position: Finance Manager
Location: Tokyo
Start: July or August
Reporting: CFO
Reason: Replacement/New Position
Salary: 6-8M JPY/annum
Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting: ensure financial data to be reported in compliance with the company's reporting formats and procedures, prepare weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual reports
- 3-5 years of Accounting, with experience in financial analysis and team leadership
- Strong understanding of financial figures; able to communicate and report to various business channels
- Report directly to CFO and present at manager meetings
- Motivated to learn new skills and work with historic and international company
● Coordinate with internal audits and external audits
● Ad-hoc finance planning/reporting for different business areas (finance, marketing, HR, Sales, etc) to create cost margin transparency
● Always collaborating with Sales & Marketing, Purchasing, and other relevant departments as needed
● Help improve accounting, reporting and planning processes as well as internal control systems (i.e. analyze sales and marketing, travel cost, internal KPIs, etc.)
● Track and show key risks and opportunities to enable stakeholders to come up with ideal decisions on the business in Japan
● Collaborate with partners to support other special projects
● Lead system-related projects and initiatives
