As an Accountant in the gaming industry, you will play a vital role in managing financial transactions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting the financial operations of the company. Responsibilities:
- Handle day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
- Perform regular reconciliations of financial data and resolve any discrepancies.
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and accruals.
- Assist with the implementation and improvement of accounting procedures and internal controls.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and tax requirements.
- Support external audits and liaise with auditors as necessary.
- Stay updated with industry trends and changes in accounting regulations affecting the gaming industry.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the gaming or entertainment industry.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with financial statement preparation and analysis.
