The job primarily entails the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for both standalone and consolidated accounts, alongside the daily management of financial and accounting tasks. It also involves close cooperation with group companies and external auditors to facilitate the prompt conclusion of audits.
Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for the company's individual accounts and helping with consolidated financial statements under JGAAP.
Collaborating with external auditors and IPO consultants to create the annual securities report as required by the Financial Instruments and Exchange Act (FIEA).
Supporting the implementation of J-SOX within the group.
Assisting with grant reporting.
Aiding in the financial reporting of group companies following IFRS standards.
Accounting & Administrative Tasks:
Reviewing expense claims from vendors and employees.
Creating journal entries, maintaining ledgers, and reconciling accounts for the company and the entity.
Handling invoicing and performing reconciliations between different company accounts.
Managing banking transactions and related functions for all bank accounts.
Assisting with tax filings and tax payments.
Coordinating with other departments to provide necessary information for project management, budget analysis, etc.
Undertaking additional ad-hoc activities and tasks as assigned.
Understand and agree with the company’s vision, mission, goals, and values.
Share and exemplify the company's Guiding Principles and maintain a high level of ethical behavior and trustworthiness.
Have over 5 years of experience in accounting or financial reporting, with a focus on compliance with JGAAP or IFRS.
Be fluent in both English and Japanese.
Possess proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Spreadsheet.
Experience in an IPO preparation company or publicly listed company.
Familiarity with IFRS.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification.
Official Business Skills Test in Bookkeeping 2nd grade or above (日商簿記 2 級以上).
