A strong European manufacturing business, located in West Japan, with a long and successful history is looking for a senior HR executive to manage both Japan and the North Asia region.
To successfully implement the HR strategy and lead the local HR teams to offer HR services (hiring, training, payroll, general affairs, employee relationship, performance management, succession planning,) based on the global success factors system for the business in North Asia.
The job holder needs to work closely with commercial and operations teams in each business and must quickly be able to achieve a good understanding of the business. It plays a key role in development of talent and organizational design. It provides active support and guidance for site HR in the plant in terms of hourly hiring and training, lean activities, motivation plan, frontline leader development, etc. It has a functional responsibility for the HR Managers in Korea and Taiwan.
10 years of experience in handling similar HR assignment in an international/western company, preferably from the manufacturing industry. Knowledge of and experience with working with a Marketing and Sales oriented company is a must.
