Report Line: Reports to Finance Director / Manager in same office (Finance Director has a solid reporting line to VP & CFO in Denmark)
Responsibilities & Duties:
Overall accounting and financial reporting functions.
Expected to become business partner through responsibilities. Requires learning for; not only J-GAAP/ tax, also US-GAAP(SEC), Med-Tech regulations, etc.
Daily accounting-related management (journal entries, approvals, and communicating with other functions.)
AR, AP, expenditure, payroll, tax and other operational management with counterparts
Finance compliance and corporate governance (internal audit and SOX)
Accounting & financial reporting
Requirements (Must have):
At least 3 years of relevant accounting/finance experience
Fine English skills. (TOEIC score as rough indication; 700 or above. Or person proactively/ambitiously improving English skills.)
Native level Japanese is needed.
University graduate, bachelor’s degree.
The Official Business Skills Test in Bookkeeping (BOKI), 3rd grade and/or above (BOKI 3rd grade holders, candidates are to work toward 2nd grade qualifications.)
