Job Title: Senior Accountant/Accounting Manager

Our client, a leading technology company, is currently seeking a highly experienced Senior Accountant or Accounting Manager to join their dynamic team. With around 5-9 years of experience, the ideal candidate will possess a strong background in accounting and be well-equipped to thrive in a technology-driven environment. Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage the day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles and regulations.

Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and records, ensuring the completeness and integrity of financial data.

Collaborate closely with business unit members and department heads, providing financial insights to support decision-making processes.

Act as a liaison between the accounting department and external stakeholders, such as auditors, tax authorities, and vendors.

Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and accruals.

Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, fostering their professional growth and development.

Participate in the development and implementation of accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.

Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities.

Ensure compliance with relevant local regulations and reporting requirements.

Drive process improvements and contribute to the enhancement of financial systems and tools.

Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes in the technology sector.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

5-9 years of combined experience in accounting, including both public accounting firm and in-house accounting experience.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.

Comfortable with the fast-paced, innovative culture of a technology company.

Proven leadership abilities and experience in mentoring and guiding junior staff members.

Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.

Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.

Self-motivated with excellent prioritization and multitasking abilities.
