ABOUT THE COMPANY:
Our client is a leading global commercial real estate and investment management company.
POSITION GOALS:
The Senior Finance Analyst is accountable for the successful delivery of a comprehensive range of financial services & support as defined in the Management Contract for the company.
Manage the day-to-day financial and accounting operations with a particular focus on the client’s reporting requirements at a local level.
Assist the Finance Manager and the team to achieve KPI, financial, and other targets as established for the account.
Monitor and ensure efficient use of resources, manage budgetary functions and oversight of accounts payable and receivable functions.
Be the strategic partner with the Finance Manager, onsite FM leads & functional teams as well as with the Client Finance lead.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
To collect monthly accrual data from the operation team, to do accrual in the financial system, and to double-check/validate data accuracy in the month end closing session.
To check/adjust/re-class data by comparing with the month-end report after accrual and to cooperate with both the Client Record Team and operation team to get all data booked correctly.
To update and check actual spending with well-maintained cost trackers for both Opex and Capex and to remind or advise the operation team if anything needs to be paid high attention to.
To update the Purchase Order tracking list/Payment list monthly and to remind or advise the operation team if anything needs to be paid attention to.
To organize/report at Monthly payment meetings.
To assist the Finance Manager in completing monthly variance report/annual budget/forecast editing/any other report.
To track Capex project status.
To Coordinate both the operation team and Client Accounting Payable team to deal with payment/invoice issues/supplier registration etc.
To assist the Finance Manager in completing other Ad-hoc financial work raised by both the client and/or local FM team.
Complete ad-hoc tasks assigned by the Finance Manager.
To train other function teams about finance-related operations, policy, and updates.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
Working experience in the Finance or Accounting field is preferred at least 5 years of relevant working experience in Finance Control
Ability to meet tight schedules and deliver high-quality work.
High level of communication and interpersonal skills.
Down to earth, hands-on, responsible and detail-oriented;
Good communication skills (oral and written) in English and Japanese
Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook skills.
Especially Excel skills for analysis
